You could really feel the community spirit with so many generous sponsors and donations. Saturday 6 July at Ryde Civic Hall, Ryde District Mums sold over 2,900 raffle tickets and raised over $7,000 for the Hew Family. The day was perfect and over 200 kids showed up for this special fundraiser.<\/p>\n

The goal was to help raise funds so that Lauren could get out of hospital and spend her time at home with her family and friends, surrounded by love.<\/p>\n

We love her strength and determination throughout such a terrible and emotional 5 years of battling cancer. By seeing such courage, it gives us the hope we can fight anything that comes our way.<\/p>\n
